Why wouldn't you like rollercoasters??
Rollercoasters are one of the most thrilling experiences you can imagine. There are thousands of rollercoasters around the world, some fast, some scary, some down right heart-stopping. Not all of them are scary though, many of them are pleasant and enjoyable without being ridiculously ferocius. So my question is, why wouldn't you like rollercoasters? they are so AMAZING!!

DISNEYLAND Part 2
MICKEY'S TOONTOWN
Toontown was designed for the younger children who visit the park, but it is fun for all ages. It is structured as a little town where all of the disney cartoon characters live. It also has some rides/attractions perfect for young kids. There is Minnie's house, Mickey's house, and a whole lot more!
CRITTER COUNTRY
Critter country only has a few rides, but the land is still exceptional. One of the best and most popular rides in the whole park (Splash mountain) is there. There is also a Winnie the Pooh ride, and lots of shops to look at. Splash Mountain is a log flume ride, about how Brer Rabbit escapes Brer fox, including songs and puppets. Yes, it does sound like a dorky ride, but it's not! Unlike some rides, Splash Mountain goes for atleast 10 minutes, and finishes with a 52 ft drop down a waterfall. It is very enjoyable and heaps of fun!
FRONTIERLAND
Frontierland is country themed, and is a good land to look around if you aren't a big rides fan. It has beautiful scenery, concerts, and shops to browse around, as well as a few smaller rides.
NEW ORLEANS SQUARE
New Orleans Square is filled with shops and cafes, but it also homes 2 really great rides. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride, and the Haunted mansion. When I went to disneyland I LOVED the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, but unfortunately the haunted mansion was closed.
MAIN STREET, USA
There are no Rides in this land, but this is where all of the excitement begins!! This is the entrance to the happiest place on earth, where all of the parades are, and where you can watch the fireworks! There are plenty of shops and lots of things like Horse-drawn streetcars, miniture trains, and old style cars.

DISNEYLAND part 1
Disneyland is described as the happiest place on Earth! It is divided into eight 'lands', and each one has amazing rides and attractions!
FANTASYLAND
The fantasyland entrance is the Sleeping Beauty's castle, which has become a famous Disneyland symbol. Fantasyland is the land of Disney fairy tales, almost every attraction has a connection to one of Disney's most famous movies! In fantasyland there are 13 rides/attractions, and two shows, all of them brilliant. Some of the rides are the Alice in wonderland ride, the mad tea party (another Alice in wonderland ride), the Snow white ride, Peter Pan's flight, and more. I went to Disneyland in 2005, and for a 9 year old, fantasyland was the most exciting place ever!!
ADVENTURELAND
Adventureland only has 4 rides and attractions, but all of them are considered some of the best in the park. The 4 attractions are the Enchanted Tiki room, the Jungle cruise, Tarzans tree house, and my personal favourite, the Indiana Jones ride! In the Indiana Jones ride, you drive through a wild temple, along a bumpy track, trying to escape dangers along the way. It definately gives Adventureland a good name!
TOMORROWLAND
Tomorrowland is an exciting land that takes you into the future. The whole section of the park is designed to look like it comes from the future! Space Mountain is the most amazing ride in the world, well at least I think so. Space Mountain is one of the rides in Tomorrowland, it is like no other ride I know. The ride is an exciting and fast steel rollercoaster, inside a big building. It sounds like anyother rollercoaster, but it's not. Space mountain is in the dark! You can't see anything, not even the person next to you! Well that isn't completely true, there are tiny little lights EVERYWHERE throughout the ride, resembling stars. This gives the impression that you are flying through space! It is an exhilarating ride, and one that I would recommend to anyone!
Next week, I will post more about the other lands in Disneyland!!

The Insano
The Insano is an INSANE ride, hence the name. It is the highest waterslide in the world, measuring 41 metres high, which is the equivalent of a 14-story building!! It only takes 5 seconds for riders to reach the bottom of the slide. This means they are traveling at 105km per hour (which is approximately 27 metres per second). The ride is located at Beach Park, in Brazil. Because of the Insano's rapid decent, it is considered the most extreme waterslide on the Planet!! After the drop, the water slide leads into a pool, where the ride finishes. It is definitely a very scary ride, and only the real thrill-seekers should try it. It sounds like it would be the prefect ride for an adrenaline rush! It is a waterslide I would absolutely want to try, it looks like so much fun!!

Colusses
The Colossus is an insane rollercoaster in Thorpe park, in Surrey, England. It was made in 2002 and straight away became the main attraction for the park, flooding in thousands of guests. The ride is made up of a vertical loop, a cobra roll- when the rollercoaster twists and dips down before hurtling back onto the main track, two corkscrews- when the rollercoaster twists upside down, and five heartline twists- when the rollercoaster spins through a spiral five times!!The coaster reaches 98ft, and is one of the most thrilling rollercoasters in the world. It isn't just the ride that's thrilling, the whole queue for the ride is directly under the rollercoaster, and people lining up are very close to the track, making it very exciting to watch. The Colosses is not only intensley thrilling, but it also has amazing scenery of the park. The Colosses is high, fast, thrilling, and has awesome loops and spins, it definately sounds like a highly enjoyable ride for anyone!

Superman Escape!
Superman escape is a thrilling ride at Movie world on the gold coast. The ride starts off as an underground metropolitis (subway), then when there is an earthquake, the train must get out!! "There is only one way out..fast, superman fast!' are the words you hear before you zoom out onto the rollercoaster. When I say zoom, I mean it. From no speed at all, the rollercoaster goes from 0-100km an hour in 2 seconds! After that there is a series of vertical drops, twists, and turns. It is a highly enjoyable ride!!
Hamish and Andy appeared on ROVE in 2009, and did a dare to ride the Superman escape all night! In between rides they had to eat hotdogs and drink milkshakes. Both of them vomited several times, but I think that was mostly because of all the hot dogs. The Rove episode can be veiwed on You Tube.

KINGDA KA
The Kingda Ka is a rollercoaster in New Jearsey, USA. It opened May 21st, 2005, and became the tallest AND fastest rollercoaster in the world! The train reaches speeds of 206 km/hour in 3.5 seconds, which is even faster than the Superman escape rollercoaster in Queensland. After the amazingly fast launch, the train reaches a height of 139.5 metres, then vertically drops!! It is a very safe ride, but in 2009 the ride was struck by lightning. Luckily it was overnight and the park wasn't open. It took the mechanics a few weeks to get the ride working again. Since then, there haven't been any other problems with the ride. For anyone who is a thrill seeker, this is the perfect ride for you, as it is fast, extreemly high, and extreme.
